I am pleased to announce that I will be at UC and Cloud Day in Birmingham UK, 9th October. Like last year I will be broadcasting live from the event hall stage. I can only attend this as a direct result of sponsorship, and this year I am honoured to be sponsored by two excellent ISVs:

For those of you who have not attended UC and Cloud Day before, or previously never heard of it, it is the biggest independent UC and Cloud Conference in the UK where top professionals and vendors meet together to discuss technology and strategy. There are many break out sessions led by community speakers and Microsoft MVPs covering topics around Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Enterprise Mobility. The event is totally free to attend and is a great day for free technical enrichment but also a huge opportunity to socialise with friends and acquaintances that you may have only previously known in your social media circle.

This year UC and Cloud Day have a main technology sponsor that you may have heard of before called….. Microsoft!! Yes that’s right, Microsoft will be attending and having a stand in the expo hall so you can connect directly with them while at the day. The fact that UC and Cloud day has attracted the technology vendor to pay some cash to attend shows the real value and belief of this community conference.

Last year the event was attended by over 400 of your good selves, from UK and also Europe (especially Belgium), and I hope this year it gets even better!

You’ll want to attend this year as there is a special announcement on the future and how UC and Cloud Day will evolve in 2018! Some really great news that you sure won’t want to miss!

This year I am enlisting the help of MS Community Hub founder and Microsoft Cloud User Group (Manchester) organiser Martin Boam to build on the success of last year. Here is some of the things we will be doing

  • A full day live broadcast between 10am and 4:30pm UK time with some interesting programs planned
  • Our famous mugs will make a return, hopefully more than we had last year, so come early to grab yours!
  • From the floor reporting – interviews with real life attendees to get their feedback on the day
  • Quick fire interviews at vendor stands to find out what they do and why they attend these events

More information will be released as we get closer to the event!
